CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:

2014 Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems Award

The 2014 Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems Award will be presented in 2014 to a chemometrician, not older than 40 years of age, who has contributed significantly to the development of chemometrics in the last 5 years. This prestigious award was established to stimulate the careers of young scientists by recognizing noteworthy accomplishments in the field. This is the sixth time that this award is given and it will be delivered during the celebration of the Chemometrics in Analytical Chemistry meeting (in Richmond, VA USA,  9-13 June, 2014, See:  http://www.cac2014.vcu.edu)

The winner chosen by a selected committee of leading international scientists

in the field of chemometrics, will receive 2000 Eu, and a framed certificate. The

awardee is selected by the committee based mainly on one or more outstanding

scientific papers, but contributions to the field of chemometrics in another form will

also be considered.

There are no restrictions of nationality or professional affiliation. The application deadline for the 2014 award is March 1st  2014. Nominations can be made by sending a nomination letter and a complete résumé of the nominee to the Chemometrics Committee by e-mail: chemometrics@elsevier.com
